These reduction glazes are subjected to this precisely calibrated absence of oxygen during the firing process. This European term is derived from the name of the hero of Honor\u00e9 d\u00b4Urf\u00e9 \u00b4s novel \u201cL\u00b4 Astrre\u00e9\u201c (1610). The color of the shepherd Celadon delicate green garment became fashionable as soon as the hero\u2019s name was attached to that color.
